Monterey Bay Master Gardeners raise money to support a variety of projects including local school gardens. Since 1996 the MGs have awarded over $10,000 in grants to the Homeless Garden Project and over $14,000 in school grants. How to apply for a school grant

We also educate the gardening public about the use of sustainable gardening techniques by hosting the annual Masters Garden Tour, Home Gardening Boot Camp and Smart Gardening Fair and by participating in many educational events all around the Monterey Bay Area.
